10 week check up!

So i went to my 10 week check up yesterday, what a day! When the dr came in she said i have not gained any weight, by the first trimester i am suppose to gain 2-4lbs. I will be 11 weeks tomorrow,  and i actually have lost 2 oz  lol.  Not sure how that is possiable seeing how i have been eating EVERYTHING in site, i have even had family members look at me like i might devour them! Then she started to try and find the heartbeat, i was so excited to hear the heartbeat!  At this point i cannot feel the baby kick to KNOW that everything is ok, so i rely on these appointments to let me know everything is ok. She sat there for 5 mintues trying to find the heatbeat, i think it got to the point where my  heart was beating so hard she wouldnt have been able to find babys heartbeat if she wanted to. She finally said ok, lets go get a pic to make sure. ( an ultrasound) I had to wait cause someone was in there before me, so i sat there for like a half hour. SOOOoo many things running through my head in this half hour, and jordan going ape shit from being bored didn;t help my nerves. When they finally got me back there, i layed there anxiously as she put the gel on my belly. She put the doppler on my belly and in a instant i saw little one jumping back and forth like crazy! WHAT A RELIEF! Baby kept rubbing it’s face and kicking their legs up as high as they could! It was the cutest thing! She got a heartbeat and let me listen too, so nice and loud! 160 something was the heartbeat!  THEn the ultrasound tech goes,, oooh i think its a GIRL….. wait its a BOY…. hmm actually im not sure…. And she said im not sure like 5 more times. REALLY why would you even do that!!!

Morning sickness is better, not near as bad. I have only threw up a few times in the last week.  Everything is feeling better, however my breast are so SORE still and I am ALWAYS exhausted! oh, and hungry!

 

My first bad craving!

So on Tuesday i went and had a sandwich with a friend between classes, she got a chicken salad sandwich so i just got the same. i didn’t  really care what i got, i was just hungry. That sandwich was so fricken good, i could have swore it was singing to me the whole time i ate it. All i could think about later that night when i got hungry was how i wanted another one of those!  It was a chicken salad sandwich with tomato with pickle and mayo, it was awesome. Wednesday’s  breakfast came and all i wanted was that damn sandwich, lunch and dinner the same thing! FINALLY this morning i got up and was getting a damn chicken salad sandwich, i went to caseys lol. I asked the lady if they made them or if i had to buy what was premade, cause years ago i ate a premade one and it had mold on it. She made me one, and half through  said ” i dont know if im suppose to make this like this so we are gunna mark it as tuna”, I told her how grateful i was and my husband, cause he has had to hear me go on and on about this sandwich.. WORST CRAVING EVER! Getting ready to hoover this bad boy down and hope it’s as good as the one at school was!

So when i was younger my brother who is younger then me used to embarrass my parents all the time at the store, he would see a fat person and call them fat. he was young and didnt know any better and i would just laugh, mom and dad died a little inside lol! Last saturday i had to take my mom to the store to get some dog food and when we got in line jordan points at the couple in front of us and says ”  I dont like him mommy” I grab her finger and whisper in her ear, ok but we need to be nice. She pulls her finger from my hand points and says it again, all i can do is smile at the couple and try and calm jordan down. The line finally started moving and jordan just keeps saying it, they finally left and she stopped and went back to being herself….. WOW..

Back to school, back to school..

So i started classes back up again yesterday, i am taking bio 110 and bio lab 110. The Biology class seems to be just the same as beginner biology in my opinion, having already done it once i am a little bored. The Biology lap tho is new and is pretty interesting, yesterday we tested pill bugs. We tested their reactions to different substances, such as baking soda, milk, coffee creamer, water ect. Got to look at them under a microscope, which they are very creepy looking up close. ( jordan would have been so jealous to know i got to play with bugs) I think it was a class mostly to introduce us to the microscope and beakers and things like that, even tho it was a pretty 8th grade level lab, it was fun. I kept getting emails and phone calls saying how, “wonderful” my daughter was and when do i get out of class again! I got home and my house was a wreck and derik i dont think i have ever seen derik or jordan so happy to see me!  I would like to stay in class up to delivery of little one on the way, but we will have to see how my health is around my 3rd trimester. I also need to see what classes i can take, not sure if i can take chemistry and chemistry lab? Don’t want a 3 headed baby!

Eh, No!

So we have been batteling with baby names, we have a boy list and a girl list.  Agreeing on  a name has not happend yet, probably wont till near due date. I can only see us agreeing because we are soo sick of arguing over names, pain in the ass i tell ya. Today Someone asked jordan if she had a baby sister what she would like to call it, jordan paused and then said, ” aaa girl”.( So creative there.) They then asked her if she had a baby brother what she would name it, she paused and said ” Eh NO”!….  I look forward to the look on her face when i say, you are having a baby brother! (if we are pregnant with a boy)

My name is… RALPH

Soo it is here, showing it’s ugly face at 5 and half weeks along in this pregnancy. MORNING SICKNESS. With jordan i had it all day long for 6 weeks, it was hell.  So far in this pregnancy the worst is in the morning, However i feel like shit the whole rest of the day. We made these awesome grilled cheese last night, you  had to make a roasted red onion and mayo sauce for them which was really good. This morning i got up and felt great actually, till i walked in the kitchen and that smell from that sauce hit me like a brick wall! I ran to the bathroom and gagged for about 30 mins, wishing i would just throw up already! I have been scrubbing and spraying and lighting candles TRYING to get this damn smell out and it’s just not working. I get a hint of the smell every 10 mins and im running to the bathroom. You can only imagine jordans face at this point! This pregnancy has been different, have lots of symptoms. When i was pregnant with jordan i just got morning sickness. It is neat to have a different experience tho, ya never know what comes next lol.   Not to much longer now and we get to see what going on in this belly of mine! March 5th is the ultrasound, and im counting down the days!

 

Little Big Sister

So we found out feb 10, 2012 around 5pm that we are expecting! I was shocked, cause i being so impatient went to the dr the day before and had my blood drawn. I got a call that thursday night that the blood test was negative, i cried. Seeing a negative on a pregnancy test and hearing negative have complete different effects on you. When i saw derik that night he knew how upset i was and handed me a whole carten of pregnancy test! He baought the whole shelf of pregnancy test at the store for me, all i could do was laugh! He told me he thought the blood test was done too early, but knew i would not listen to him so he let me get it done. I still did not feel myself and new something was up so the next day i went ahead and tested that evening and at first i didnt see anything, i let out a big sigh. I went to show derik and when i looked at it before i gave it to him i saw something! I ran under the lamp and boom there was a faint line! I tested prob 3 more times that night and a million more times thru the next 24 hours! We were indeed pregnant, and that line is not faint anymore! That line is nice and bold, and i can say hormones have already hit! (explain near the end) The next day we went and had jordan pick out boxes of chocolates for the 3 sets of grandparents and we wrote on each one, “Have some candy, try chocolate with caramel too. But save some for missy and derik , cause they are expecting number 2!” Belinda had to give it a second look, and then got very excited Linda did the same thing! It was soo funny to watch them have to give the note a second look!  Now back to the hormones, i have made spegetti tonight, and when i got some bread for my plate i turned to fast and the bread fell off my plate onto the floor, i balled my eyes out! Yes we had more bread, but for some reason i could help but cry my eyes out! Yay for hormones!

Based on my last menstrual period baby should be due oct 27 i think. I have gotten 25, 26, 27. Soo we will def know when we go to our first appt on the 5th of march!

Lotion Product Review

Soo, this is probably more for the ladies. ( Also i wrote this review BECAUSE I CAN)

I am a lotion addict, morning, day, after shower, and before bed. I have gotten a new lotion everytime i ran out, and never really found one i liked so much to buy a second time till now It is called St. Ives, and i love it! I am really picky when it comes to lotion, I don’t like glitter, strong perfumes, or greasyness. The smell of the st. ives is a nice clean refreshing scent, that i can put on before bed or in the morning when i get up and not feel like i have crap all over me. It is awesome at hyrdrating as well, the only reason i put it on all the time is cause i love it! It is kinda like an addiction. You know when you buy chap stick and you just constantly put it on through out the day, even if you dont need it. That is how i am with lotion So anyways,  if you havent tried st. ives ya Should, and tell me what ya think!

Our Trip

We decided to go to st. louis thursday night and stay at a hotel close by the airport and be shuttled to the airport. Other wise we would have had to get up at  2 or 3am to go get moms and head to st. louis to catch our flight. The hotel we stayed at was pear tree, it was ok. I really didnt sleep very well that night, aside from the airplanes taking off every 30 mins, it was super quiet and you could hear the elevator and people walking up and down the hall. So when we got up at 4am, i was tired as hell. We got to the airport and had to go thru security, which was not bad aside from the one bitch! I forgot to take my ticket out of the plastic, when i got up there she yelled at us and then shook her head. I swear to god, all i wanted to do was go back and stick my boot up her prissy ass the whole time i was waiting for my plane! We had never flew before and didnt really know what we were doing, so the first person we see does that.. Come on now. We finally got on board and jordan was not scared at all, she loved it.  She was looking out the window and jumping all over the place when we could take the seat belt off. She even got a pair of wings from the one of the attendents. We got to Atlanta, Georgia and grabbed some lunch, as soon as we got done eating it was time to get on a plane and go to nashville. I gave jordan the window this time and her head was stuck to that window most of the time, again she loved it. We finally got to nashville and i got to see my grandpa, i have not seen him since i was 4 or so. Right after that we went to see my grandma, she was in a hospital in ICU when we got there. She couldnt move anything and was in so much pain she would not eat or anything. However i noted that it was like 2pm and isnt lunch at  11am or 12pm in  hospital? Her smashed baby food lookin food was ice cold, How did they expect her to eat that, and she cant feed herself either. We got to the hotel and WOW, it was nice they had room service and all. It was a two room suit and i slept like a baby everynight and woke up to room service bringing us breakfast every morning !!  Oh, and jordan loved that they had a indoor pool! We went back to see my grandma and the room was empty and bed made, my mom and I’s face went blank! We found out they moved her to a nursing home the day before ( i guess after we left) and didnt call anyone! So we had to drive all the way back to clarksville, we had already been there once that day to see my grandpa and the house.  She was kinda out of it that night, so we told her we would see her the next day. When we got there the next day she was moving her feet, and her arm! She was a little happier too. I was soo impressed! She could not move anything the day before! The only thing she can do tho is pick her arm up and then it drops.. everything else is still paralyzed. ( fingers, hand and all) Told her we would be back to see her when we see how recovery goes. It was really hard to see her like that, and there are some obsticales she still has to over come. I didn’t want to leave her or grandpa but we had to get back. We had to get out of the hotel at 12 and clean and wash the car and drop it off by 2, our flight didnt leave till 5pm. So that was kinda of a long wait, but jordan got to play and we got our nails done in the meantime. Before we new it we were on the plane and heading home, hit some turbulence on that flight.When we got to the car jordan was OUT! All i have heard today has been about planes, i am going to pull my hair out lol! We are all very tired and feel like worn wash cloths lol. Traveling takes it out of ya, and we are still trying to get back in to our daily routines. Hopefully grandma will keep up the improvement!

Wisdom teeth hell!

So almost 3 weeks ago i went to the dentist in pain, my lower left wisdom tooth was cutting thru and was hurting. When i got in they did x-rays and found on my bottom wisdom teeth were in sideways, like this ( not my acutal teeth)

I also found out my lower left was infected and both teeth were impacted into the bone.

I remember sitting in the chair forever waiting for the dr to come in and get things rolling, i saw him adding stuff to my iv and before i knew it my eyes were getting heavy and i was out. I woke up to some really sharp pain on my bottom right side, to realize i woke up in the middle of the procedure. Before i knew it i was back out tho, woke up a few other time as well! I got home and was out most of the night, aside from throwing up. I couldn’t take the pain medicine, turned my stomach upside down. The throwing up made the bleeding worse, the swelling was soo bad for about 3 days. I also found stitches in my cheek, they said they had to cut my right cheek to get to the tooth. When the swelling went down it was a little easier on me. I am just now able to eat what-ever i want. However it is still sensitive, so i have to watch it. I still have my top two wisdom teeth in, but they came in straight and i have room for them to move around up there cause i had to have a tooth pulled up there when i was like 16 due to a really bad cavity. Which is a good thing, cause i dont see myself going back! lol
